Healsee Capsules, the world’s leading producer of vegetarian hard-shell empty capsules, plans to invest $65 million in Gaston County, and create 100+ new jobs with an average annual wage of $52,234.  

Schools and companies are partnering to meet Gaston County’s workforce needs. Their efforts start with helping high school students discover careers and continue through sharpening current workers’ skills.

Walmart, Inc. (NYSE: WMT) plans to open a new fulfillment center in Gaston County. The estimated $300 million investment will create more than 300 new jobs in Gaston County. The 1.2 million–square-foot facility, located at 799 Sara Lee Access Road, is expected to open in 2027. The new jobs will generate an annual payroll impact in the community of more than estimated $20 million per year.

KNOLL Maschinenbau is a global player whose filter systems, pumps, conveyor and transport systems are widely used in all the major industrial nations. North America is one of the most important markets that KNOLL serves with its own subsidiary. A new location in Dallas, North Carolina, will be inaugurated on September 30. It offers expanded opportunities for on-site production and spare parts supply.

GTIS Partners LP ("GTIS") to develop a $27 million, 170,000-square foot warehouse and distribution center site on Cox Road in Gastonia.
